Central Drakensberg is home to many hotels and resorts. Hotel prices varies from R1400 to R4500 per night during peak seasons. This popular part of the Drakensberg is easily accessible and has a more improved infrastructure. Guests in the berg can enjoy a buffet of hiking trails from Monks Cowl, the most favorable trails are Crystal Falls, Sterkspruit Falls, Nandi Falls, Blindmans Corner and Sterkhorn, the latter for the more athletic hiker, this trail can be achieved within a day and the rewards are memorable. Central Drakensberg is home to the World famous Drakensberg Boys Choir, impressive Birds of Prey and many other adrenaline activities including mountain biking and zip lining.
